Water Availability
Develop a predictive capacity for forecasting changes in water availability in the San Juan Region including the potential impacts of climate change. Use this information in combination with studies of current water rights and water conflicts to understand the impacts of changing water supplies on the region.

Air Quality
Developed improved capability to model and monitor changing air quality in the San Juan Region. Understand the ongoing and potential impacts of rapid regional development of oil and gas wells and newly planned coal-based power generation in the Four Corners region.

Land use change and visibility
Develop a more comprehensive understanding of the current use of lands and the trajectories of change in the areas to the West of the San Juan Mountains. Use this information to better understand the role of regional land use change in atmospheric aerosol generation and composition.
